The objective of the mission: to run the 20 km of Brussels with a trained group of volunteers together with about 30,000 other athletes.

The briefing was under Erwin's expert guidance and was followed by a professional photo shooting. The mission for every MWV team member was clear: to collect as much sponsor money during the run and make promotion by means of the beautiful bright-green shirts ("Knowledge heals!").

The traditional countdown to the sound of the Bolero was overshadowed by dark rain clouds. With the starting shot, luckily, the last raindrops were blown away. The weather conditions were perfect: not too hot and "a lot of oxygen in the air". The whole MWV team performed extremely well and the balance will certainly be positive.

The debriefing will announce the exact results of this mission! An interesting aspect of this mission was the supremacy of the Africans in the final result. The members of the MWV team can still learn a lot from their African friends...

The 32nd edition off the 20 km will take place at Sunday 29th May, 2011. This is already a call to strengthen the team next year: MWV can only win!
