The last days of our mission in Ciriri

Yet a follow-up on the last report on the mother who died. Today, the grandparents have visited Els at the maternity ward. For now, the babies are fed with powder milk by MWV. The tradition that children are taken care of and wet-nursed by a 'nana' seems to have disappeared. Now the grandmother will try to feed the children (with the help of medication and regular feeding this will perhaps succeed). The babies remain on the maternity ward.

This is only to make clear that Western evidences are absolutely not self-evident here.

Tomorrow will already be our last day of an eventful mission. After the evaluation with all responsible persons, we will drink a good glass of "Primus" or "Sucré". The celebration of festivals is also a part of this, and above all the support for our colleagues in their way of working under the difficult conditions as they are here.
