Yvonne, nurse on call has worked all day (meaning from 9 a.m till the arrival of the night shift, sometimes this is 3 p.m but it can be 5 p.m. just as well) without anything to eat or drink. RESPECT!!

We had three new babies come in and every admission takes the nurse a lot of time. She then has no time to look after the other babies and this has consequences, serious ones: necrosis, babies that need to wait for their bottle (hence their loss of weight),...There is an urgent need for more nurses. How they keep this up, is beyond me. They are so BRAVE.
