Balance: positive!

Balance: positive!

It was easy to make up the balance from the reports of the gynaecological team and the hospital director: it is positive! The 30 operations, 40 ultrasound examinations and 72 consultations preceded very efficiently, thanks to an eager to learn and willing local team.

Urbain writes:

  • I could count on a perfect cooperation from both the medical care nurses and the anaesthesia nurses; both teams showed much interest in their work and were highly motivated.
  • We could work easily thanks to the excellent selection of the patients.

Linda writes:

  • 3 times bravo for the cooperation, eagerness to learn, organisation in the theatre and motivation!
  • Kudos to the anaesthesia nurses.

Christiane writes:

  • With regard to orderliness and cleanliness, there is room for improvement; but the cooperation was perfect!
  • I felt like a real addition to the team because there was so much work.

A local partner writes:

  • A better quality of life, especially for poor people.
  • Improved image for the hospital as well in Burkina Faso as also in the neighbouring countries.

The only ones that have not contributed their cooperation to the team were the instruments: the scissors did not want to cut, the clamps could not grab and the needles turned in the closed needle carriers. Hopefully, the next MWV team can take such material with them.
