The open day in the Academical Hospital of Oudenaarde was a big success. And this for sure thanks to the motivated contribution of an enthusiastic Nic Blancke (nurse and volunteer in the field for MWV) and a whole troop of colleagues.

In front of the tent that had been erected on campus of the Academical Hospital, African dances were performed and volunteer children's hair were done up in braids and corn rows!
Bananas were baked and sold …. The final yield (including the sale of T-shirts and greeting cards) amounted to € 435
This also will have contributed to the recognition of our name in the Flemish Ardennes!
